The Magical Sphinx is a giant ancient statue, one of the biggest in the world, carved out of a single massive piece of rock. The face of the statue is supposed to look like that of Pharaoh Khafre, and its body is like that of a colossal lion who ruled for a long time. Between its paws, the Sphinx holds a unique stone called “dream steel” that was placed in 1401 BC.

Gateway to the Afterlife for Egypt's Pharaohs

The Valley Temple is an outstanding and well-preserved building, one of the best ever found. This temple was a special place where the bodies of pharaohs from the 4th dynasty were prepared (mummified) for the afterlife. In this place, they performed a ceremony called the 'opening of the mouth' and a cleansing ritual to prepare the pharaohs for their tomb inside the Pyramid.

The Grand Egyptian Museum has a great collection of 100,000 archaeological wonders from over 5000 years ago. You can explore this magnificent museum and legendary exhibits like the Hanging Obelisk, the Royal Regalia, the whole collection of King Tutankhamun, and King Ramses II's statue.

Transfer

After that, you will be transferred by a modern vehicle to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to our hotel to check in for an overnight stay.

Queen Hatshepsut's Unfinished Obelisk

Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) commissioned the Unfinished Obelisk to grace the entrance of Karnak Temple alongside the Lateran Obelisk (now in Rome). Sadly, during construction, the obelisk cracked and remains unfinished. The Obelisk, standing 42 meters tall and weighing 1200 tons, is a witness to ancient craftsmanship.

Dinner Time

Elegance Hatshepsut Temple is an excellent example of ancient beauty, lasting from 1550 to 1070 BC. The Temple highlights the achievements of one of the most outstanding leaders of Hatshepsut. Her trusted advisor, Senenmut, designed the temple in 1479 BC, which took over 15 years to build. The temple's design follows the principles of classical architecture, “Djeser-Djeseru,” which means “Holy of Holies.”

The Colossi of Memnon's Ancient Mystery

The Colossi of Memnon are two giant statues that protect Luxor city. They are made from two big pieces of stone, each 18 meters tall and weighing 720 tons. They are shaped like the pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled from 1386 to 1350 BC. People believed these statues could sing at dawn because they sounded like crying.

At the end of your day, you will be transferred by A.C. modern vehicle to Hurghada to check in at our hotel and overnight.

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a special snorkeling trip with your own guide. You will swim in the clear water on a breathtaking beach in Hurghada. There, you will see a magical world under the water. Look for colorful coral and all types of sea creatures, like turtles that like to play and octopuses that are curious.
