Discovering the Mysteries of Cairo & Giza
Once you finish your breakfast, your tour guide will come to your hotel and take you on a wonderful tour of the Giza Pyramids Complex which includes one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The Giza pyramids Complex includes magical monuments that were built by the kings of the Fourth Dynasty, and still tell the stories of their civilization after thousands of years. The complex consists of three main pyramids, each pyramid was dedicated to a different pharaoh (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure), many mastabas, and a mortuary temple. Giza Complex has long been surrounded by mysteries, such as the question of how the Pharaohs built it!
The Great Pyramid of Giza was built by “Khufu” the second king of the 4th dynasty and is a magical building of ancient architecture. The Pyramid was constructed around 2560 BC as the tomb of Khufu who ruled Egypt from 2609 to 2584 BC. The Great Pyramid rose to a height of 147 meters. The Pyramid of Khufu surpassed any other human-made structure until the 13th century CE, it also has a system of internal chambers and passages. The core of the Pyramid is made of limestone blocks while the outer was covered with polished white limestone.
Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) was so wise as he made the oldest monumental sculpture in history “The Great Sphinx”. This huge statue is one of the largest ever created by humans as it is 73 meters in length, 19 meters in width, and 20 meters in height. The Dream Steele of Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC) is a very mysterious artwork that tells a fascinating story about the sphinx and his rule of Egypt.
The Valley Temple is located near the Great Sphinx and the pyramid of Khafre, it is composed of huge stone blocks, and some blocks weigh more than 150 tons. The valley temple is one of the best monuments in Egypt as it belongs to “Khafre” the builder of the second-largest pyramid. The temple is thought to have been used for the mummification of the pharaoh and purification before his interment in the pyramid. The unique architecture of the temple makes it one of the most ancient and well-preserved structures in Egypt.
Then, your tour guide will take you to a beautiful restaurant where you can see the pyramids while you have your lunch. After you enjoy your meal, you will complete your day tour in Cairo by visiting:
The Egyptian Museum is a prestigious destination for visitors who want to explore the ancient Egyptian civilization. The Museum was established in 1902 as one of the earliest museums in the world that is dedicated to demonstrating the history of this great civilization. The museum has over 170,000 artifacts from different periods of Egyptian history.

This beautiful Temple was the last temple that was built to honor “Isis” the goddess of magic and healing. Isis was revered for her power to restore her husband “Osiris” who had been killed and cut into pieces by his brother “Seth”. Philae Temple was built during the Ptolemaic era between (380-362 BC) it is a magical and well-preserved archaeological site that represents feminism, elegance, strength, beauty, and devotion.
The Unfinished Obelisk is a huge granite structure that was intended to be the largest obelisk ever erected, but it was never completed due to cracks that appeared in the stone. The obelisk remains attached to the bedrock as it has marks from the tools of the workers that are still visible on its surface. The obelisk was ordered by the female pharaoh “Hatshepsut” who ruled Egypt from 1508 to 1458 BC, she wanted to erect the obelisk at the temple of Karnak where it would have stood as a symbol of her power.
You will be transferred to our Nile Cruise to check in and have your lunch onboard before heading to visit:
The Aswan High Dam was built in the 1960s and it has enabled the country to harness the water of the Nile for irrigation, and hydroelectric power generation. The Dam of Aswan also controls the flooding of the Nile River which used to cause drought in some years.

Day Six:
Exploring the Legacy of Pharaohs
Your Nile Cruise will serve you a delicious breakfast in the morning before you check out, then you will join your tour guide to explore some of the most amazing attractions in the East and West Bank of the beautiful city of Luxor starting by:
The Valley of the Kings is a hidden gem of breathtaking architecture, it was the main burial site for the pharaohs (1550 - 1070 BC) from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom. The valley contains over 60 tombs, each one has its unique design. The walls of the Valley are covered with scenes and texts that demonstrate the beliefs and practices of the ancient Egyptians in the afterlife and the journey of the soul itself. You will witness some treasures and secrets that still remain such as the tomb of Tutankhamun.
The Temple of Hatshepsut is a magnificent monument that demonstrates the legacy of one of the most powerful and successful pharaohs of ancient Egypt Queen “Hatshepsut”. The temple took fifteen years to be completed and was dedicated to the god “Amun” who was the king of the gods. The temple depicted amazing scenes from the life of Hatshepsut such as her birth and her expedition to the land of Punt. The Temple of the Queen also has shrines to many gods and goddesses such as Hathor, Anubis, Amun Re, and of course the royal cult of the Queen herself.
The Colossi of Memnon are two huge statues that were dedicated to King “Amenhotep III” (1391–1353 BC) . The statues underwent several alterations in the Hellenistic period and became known for the mysterious sound they emitted which was attributed to the legendary warrior Memnon. The statues face east towards the Nile River and greet the sunrise every morning.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor and end your budget tour by visiting:
Karnak Temple is a heavenly gateway to gods; it is where important gods and goddesses were worshipped. This incredible Temple was dedicated to the Theban triad of “Amun Re- Mut- Khonsu”. The Temple was built by human hands over a period of 2,000 years, no other religious building in history can match its size. Karnak was also the center of the ancient Egyptian faith and treasury hub for the New Kingdom pharaohs, and there were more than thirty pharaohs who contributed to the complex and added their own monuments.
